It’s up to you to decide who repairs your vehicle

If you are unfortunate to have a road traffic accident and your vehicle is in need of repair, you are entitled to decide who repairs your vehicle.

Independent surveys have established that as many as two thirds of policy holders think that their insurers determine where their vehicles would be repaired following an accident.

Insurance companies may try to steer you towards one of their approved repairers. Under the terms of most insurance policies you are, however, able to have your vehicle repaired at a body repair centre of your choice.

The insurance company will usually want to see an estimate of the cost of repairs before they will agree to pay for the job to be done at a garage of your choice.

We have been repairing accident damaged vehicles for all of the major insurance companies since the early 1990′s to the highest possible standard.  Our focus has always been on quality rather than quantity, and on you the customer.

When you bring your car to us for a repair, as a minimum we will provide you with the following:

·          An itemised written estimate for the repairs and upon completion of repairs, a detailed invoice.  The estimate and the invoice will include an itemised list of parts and labour along with the total price for the work performed.

·         The estimate and invoice will also identify all parts as new, used, aftermarket, reconditioned or rebuilt.

·         Estimate for recovery and storage services.

·         Information about the extent of coverage if any, for a replacement hire vehicle while your damaged vehicle is being repaired.

Remember it is up to you to decide who repairs your vehicle.
